Our Board of Directors continues to plan a great event while contending with the pandemic. We met by conference call last week. The good news is we were able to complete some important in person meetings before the "stay home" order. Getting an early start allows us to continue building the foundational details of the Vail Automotive Classic while working from isolation. Afterall, this not our first rodeo; 2020 is our eleventh event.
We are pushing forward with the expectation most of the Covid-19 restrictions will be a painful memory by September. This morning, we pushed out registration another month. Realistically, few of you register this early anyway. We are working with our returning sponsors, developing ideas for new events following Cars & Coffee on Saturday and working on developing a new base of operations for the weekend. Those of you traveling from out of town will enjoy a new lodging partner.
We can always use your help. Our event is charitable. Our beneficiary partners are burning through money supporting families in crisis during the pandemic. We want to provide them even more financial support than ever. You vcan help us with introductions to potential sponsors. Even if you cannot make the introduction, perhaps you know of a business or individual who shares your enthusiasm for The Vail Automotive Classic and our charitable goals. Please feel free to contact me with suggestions.
Be well and we will continue to keep you posted as the 11th Annual Vail Automotive Classic develops.
